Why do I need Planning Permission?

Technically all new buildings need planning permission. Our expert advice can help you decide whether what you want to build would be classed as permitted development and whether it would be likely to be approved by the council.

Where are you based?

APOLLO are proud to be a Yorkshire-based consultancy operating out of the Pontefract area but work on cases in Wakefield, Selby, Leeds, Barnsley and York Local Authority boundary areas.

How long will it take for me to get planning permission?

Planning applications generally take around7/8 weeks to get determined from when plans are submitted. The design process happens before any plans can be submitted to the council and time taken for this can vary depending on what service is required and how clear a vision you have.

Am I guaranteed planning permission?

Using APOLLO will greatly improve your chances of gaining an approval however, Local Authorities can sometimes refuse applications where they feel that impacts do not accord with Policy. Refusals can be appealed and APOLLO can guide you through the process.
