When is planning permission needed

Planning Permission is written confirmation, from a Local Authority, that development is lawful: basically it is a piece of paper that confirms that a building is legal.
As stated within the Town and Country Planning Act, Planning Permission is technically required for all development in, on , over or under land. Some types of development are exempt from this requirement providing that the development complies with the limitations and conditions of the General Permitted Development Order (2015 as amended). The statutory time limit for planning applications is 8 weeks, it is therefore beneficial to contact Apollo as soon as possible to help submit a planning application to quickly gain planning permission.

This can be quite complicated to understand an APOLLO can offer an expert opinion to help clarify any concerns that you may have, we would however recommend to always apply for formal planning permission to avoid doubt.
